Keep Brazos Beautiful will work with you or your organization to plan a cleanup event. We ask for at least 2 business days’ notice to plan events, in some cases events may require more time.
First, we will decide a date and time that you would like to host your cleanup. This can be any day or time that you choose, but someone will need to come to our office and pick up the supplies.
Next, we can pick a location for the cleanup. The location can be any park, roadside, neighborhood, empty lot, etc. For this step, it is helpful to have an idea of how many participants will be at the cleanup, and their ages. (There is no minimum or maximum number of volunteers, and we encourage groups of all ages to participate.)
We will then plan a time for you or a representative of your organization to come to our office and pickup the supplies. We will provide litter grabbers, safety vests, gloves, trash bags, and a basic first aid kit.
Keep Brazos Beautiful will also reach out to the City or County entity and coordinate any trash collection that may be required.
