Education

Keep Brazos Beautiful’s mission is to educate and engage Brazos County citizens to keep our community clean, green, and beautiful. We educate the community in areas such as litter control, recycling, beautification, and living a green/sustainable lifestyle. We split our education into two age groups so we can appropriately convey the information needed to the citizens of Brazos County. Please view out information below to learn more.

Youth

Classrooms

Keep Brazos Beautiful Staff would like to be invited into your classroom to teach students about litter control, recycling, and beautification. We have STEM lessons and activities we would gladly present to your classroom and have them complete the activities. Some of our lessons are: Energy Crisis, Water Shortage, and Oil Spill. If you would like information on these lessons or other lesson plans we have, please contact our Programs Assistant at 979-775-3569 or kaitlin@keepbrazosbeautiful.org.

Community Events

Keep Brazos Beautiful will provide educational information and activities through various community events. We have done presentations at the Children’s Museum of the Brazos Valley, and created Wildflower Seed Bombs with kids and adults at the Brazos Valley Earth Day Festival. Stay tuned as we have different education youth events throughout the year.
