The Litter Index is a yearly evaluation of the amount and type of litter in Brazos County.
Keep Brazos Beautiful will drive in selected locations for Bryan and College Station to evaluate litter along the roadways. We will use volunteer training and evaluation sheets provided by Keep America Beautiful so that we can match the standards set across the country.
This year, our program will look a little different than in past years. Typically, we ask volunteers to join us for the ride along, but this year we are looking for virtual volunteers. These volunteers will be asked to review photos/videos of select areas around the county and provide a score to each area. Training will be provided so that we have a uniform scoring process.
