Memorial Tree

The Memorial Tree program is beautiful a way to honor your loved ones, or celebrate a milestone event. As an added bonus, it also provides a benefit to the whole community.

How Does it Work?

After your donation is made, a letter of acknowledgement will be sent to you, the donor.

All of our Memorial Trees will be planted each year on Texas Arbor Day in November. Invitations to the planting event will be sent to each donor. At the planting, a certificate will be presented to the donor.

There are three levels of donations available:

Seed Level – $50  (5-10 gallon tree)

Tree Level – $100 (approx. 15 gallon tree)

Grove Level – $500 donation for seven (15 gallon) trees

Why Plant a Tree?

The planting of memorial trees is an age old tradition throughout the world, and can be given in memory of a life well lived, or as a symbol of everlasting affection. The planting of trees has symbolized peace, life, growth, and hope for the future.

The gift of a tree is a unique way to honor or memorialize a special individual, while adding a long-lasting aesthetic and environmental benefit to the entire community.

Planting a tree will generate pure oxygen, clean pollutants from the air, purify ground water, aerate soil, minimize flood damage, reduce noise, reduce glare, provide shade, reduce energy consumption, and add tranquility to our lives.
