Keep Brazos Beautiful is partnering with Brazos County, the City of Bryan, and the City of College Station in celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day by hosting events and activities throughout our community for everyone!

Check out our event line-up, and register for as many as you like. Registered participants for each event will receive Earth Day 2020 Bags!

Earth Day Film Series at the Queen Theater in Downtown Bryan

Keep Brazos Beautiful is happy to present the Award-Winning Documentary, Chasing Ice, on Monday, April 20, 2020. The doors will open at 6 PM, and the film will begin at 6:20. 

Come experience this breath taking documentary for free!! That’s right. Even the popcorn is free!

Following the show, we will host a brief educational discussion on how we can make an impact here in our community. 

While we encourage everyone who is interested to participate in this event, the discussion following the film is geared towards a high school and older audience. We will be hosting another film in our series that is a family-friendly activity. 

Seating is limited. Every pre-registered guest will be given an Earth Day 2020 bag!

Community Art Show at The Brazos Center

2020 marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day!!

This Earth Day, we invite artists of all ages to explore the beauty that exists on our planet. Artwork can explore local or foreign interest, and can focus on plants, animals, or nature in general.

CALL TO ARTISTS: Open for Submissions now until April 10th.

Exhibition for artists of all ages. Each participant will be awarded a special Earth Day gift bag, and 1st through 3rd place winners will be awarded in each age category.

DROP OFF ARTWORK: Tuesday April 21st from 9 am to 2 pm at the Brazos Center in Bryan, TX. Please contact our office if other arrangements need to be made, or for pieces over 24"x24." Art will be available for pick up from 8-9pm at the Brazos Center that evening, or at the Keep Brazos Beautiful office April 22nd-25th.

Individual artists, groups, and classes are encouraged to take part in this opportunity to show off your creativity. This show will welcome a wide variety of work, from artists of all ages, celebrating our Earth!

Earth Day 2020 at Rudder Plaza

Come check out our table in Rudder Plaza from 11 am to 3 pm to learn more about what Keep Brazos Beautiful does in our community every day to celebrate Earth Day.

We will also be registering anyone interested in our other Earth Day events!

Earth Day Fun at the Children's Museum

Come play with us at the Children’s Museum! 

Keep Brazos Beautiful will be hosting an Earth Day Craft April 23rd & 24th from 10 am to 12 pm.

This activity is free, with admission, for everyone!

Pre-registered guests will receive a 2020 Earth Day bag!

Teacher Grants

We are offering $2,500 in grants to any Brazos County teacher with an idea to make their school a more clean, green, and beautiful place to learn!
