Family Nature Explore Program

Club Description: This is a club for families with young children, inspired by the Nature Explore Program. Nature Explore is a collaborative program of the Arbor Day Foundation and Dimensions Educational Research Foundation in partnership with Keep America Beautiful. The goal of this comprehensive, research-based initiative is to help children and families develop a profound engagement with the natural world, where nature is an integral, joyful part of children’s daily learning. Our local club meets monthly, on the fourth Saturday of the month. We meet at a park in the BCS area and spend an hour exploring and enjoying nature with our children using the Nature Explore curriculum.

Our family nature explore program is run by volunteers and meets on a monthly basis.  It is open to all area families.  For more information on starting your own Family nature Explore program in your neighborhood, or parish family, please contact Amy Reed at amyreed@keepbrazosbeautiful.org
